Willie Lee West, of Castalian Springs, passed away on October 14, 2018. He was born on June 4, 1930 in Smith County,TN to the late Luther and Bessie West. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Ruth West.

Willie enjoyed spending time with his family and had a huge impact on those he touched. He also enjoyed being outside, especially camping, fishing, and hunting. He was also an avid collector of many things. He had a great sense of humor and always loved to make people laugh.

Willie is survived by his sons; Billy (Loretta) West, Bobby (Freda) West, Jimmy (Peggy) West, grandchildren; Kristy West, Carrie (Terry) Cook, Tracy (James) Mostek, Kelly (Adam) Leath, Jimmy West II, Tyler West, Tayler West and great-grandchildren; Jayden, Brooklyn, Kyler, Kanen, Morgan, James, Jackson, Mason, Aiden and William.

A life celebration will be 2pm, Wednesday, October 17 in the chapel at Crestview Funeral Home with burial at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Tuesday evening and again from 10-2pm prior to the service on Wednesday. Crestview Funeral Home, Memory Gardens, and Cremation Center are in charge of arrangements, 1623 Hwy 109 North, Gallatin TN 37066.
