Willie Rogan, Sr.

Mr. Willie Rogan, Sr. passed away peacefully on August 31, 2017. He was born on January 24, 1945 to the late Earnest and Nannie Rogan. He is also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lori Gleaves.

Willie was a big hunter and fisher. He loved deer, squirrel, groundhog hunting. He also loved sports and umpire games. Willie had a big heart for the Lord; his favorite verse from the Bible was Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Willie is survived by his wife Ellen Rogan; children, Willie (Travena) Rogan, Jr; Cathy (Ray) Vaughn, and Thomas Groves; grandchildren, Darrien, Rhea, and Thomas; and five great grandchildren; step children, C.J. Johnson, Paul (Natasha) Johnson, and Alfred Johnson. He is also survived by siblings, William Earl Rogan, Mary Cloud, George Rogan, and Thomas Rogan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A life celebration will be 12pm, Wednesday, September 6 at West Eastland Church of Christ with visitation one hour prior to the service.
