William "Bill" Wiest

Mr. William “Bill” David Wiest, Sr, age 79, of Gallatin, TN passed away on June 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 13, 1942 to Lewis and Carolyne Carnevale in Bridgeport, CT.

Bill was a Connecticut State Police Officer as well as part of the Fairfield County Sherriff’s Department for over 25 years. He enjoyed target shooting and making airplane models.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ms. Virginia Wiest; sons, William Wiest Jr. (Dominique) and Brett Wiest (Pansy); grandchildren, Taylor, Brett Jr., Stormie, Ashley, Serena, Cassidy, Katlynn, Grace, Arianna, Kaybren, and Karsyn. He is also survived by several aunts and cousins.

A life celebration will be held at 1pm, Friday, July 8th in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 10am-1pm prior to the service.

Family ask, in lieu of flowers, donation be made to a Fraternal Order of Police and Wounded Warrior Foundations.
