William Jimme Sievers, a radiant soul born on March 7, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, transitioned peacefully from this world on December 6, 2024, in Westmoreland, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his mother Virginia Roberts, sister Lisa Sievers, and his step-mother Anilee Sievers. He is survived by his son Eric (Amy) Sievers, daughter Brittany Sievers, and his grandchildren Christopher, Alyssa, and Nathan. He is also survived by his father Jim Sievers, brother Rex (Monica) Sievers, his nephew Austin Sievers, as well as many other relatives and friends.
William attended grade school at Trinity Lutheran Elementary, and then attended both Concordia High School and North Side High School, in Fort Wayne, IN before making the transition to Hendersonville, Tennessee at the age of 17. This journey carried him toward new heights and relationships that would define his character. In his profession as a carpenter, William thrived not only in the craftsmanship of homes in Middle Tennessee but also in the beauty of building community and connection. His talent and autonomy in the trade exemplified his strong and resilient spirit, a reflection of the man who consistently put others above himself. William's passions extended beyond his career; he found joy in the rhythm of music, cherishing the country melodies of George Strait and the electric harmonies of rock legends like The Rolling Stones. One cherished memory stands out: a thrilling adventure to Miami with his nephew to enjoy The Stones, even as a hurricane was "rolling" in.
William has a massive love for his family. He was a devoted father, who found immeasurable joy in his role as a grandparent. His pride in his grandchildren radiated, and his nurturing spirit created bonds that blossomed beautifully. Fondly remembered will be the evenings spent camping in the backyard with them, where laughter echoed against the backdrop the nighttime sky, and memories were crafted through shared stories and playful adventures. He was even said to have had a great sense of humor. His enduring legacy will echo in the hearts of all those who knew him as a caring jokester whose loving nature left a mark on the lives he touched.
