William "Bill" Clarence Roberson Sr., 71, of Portland, TN, passed away on October 2, 2020. He was born in Bowling Green, KY on June 11, 1949 to the late Floyd and Pansy (Wheeler) Roberson.
Bill was a truck driver for over 30 years. He enjoyed being outdoors doing yardwork with his beloved dog, Ranger. He enjoyed taking care of his goats, deer hunting and fishing catfish, crappie, bass or anything that would bite.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife Susan of 38 years; six children, William Jr. (Lori) Roberson, Michael Roberson, Amanda (Billy) Means, Anthony Roberson, Tonya Means and Joseph (Amber) Roberson; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Brothers, Edgar (Patsy) Roberson, Eddie Adler, Jerry Roberson and Henry Roberson; Sisters, Mary (Ronnie) Hicks and Diana Brown and three lifelong friends, Frank, Horace, and Zeke.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Thursday October 8, 2020, at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Crestview Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Muro officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Crestview Memory Gardens at a later date.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
