William Reecer

William B. Reecer passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the age of 86. After several months of declining health, William B. died peacefully with his daughter by his side.

He was born in Sumner County TN on October 23, 1935 to the late John B. and Cora Smith Reecer. He is also preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Reecer and second wife Shirley Reecer; his siblings, Clyde Reecer, Lassie Potts, Audrey Cherry, Clifford Reecer, and Haskell Reecer; son, William “Bodie” Reecer and Mike Owen; grandsons, Josh Owen and David Reecer.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Irene Reecer; daughter, Lillie (Chris) Searcy; son, David Owen; grandchildren, Courtney and Victory Searcy, Brandon Reecer and Jonathan Keith, Mike  and Thomas Owen, Jason Owen; and great grandchildren.  Visitation will be at Crestview Funeral Home Saturday, September 17 from 12 noon until 2pm, with a graveside service immediately following at Crestview Memory Gardens.  In Lieu of flowers: People wishing to honor William B. can make donations to the Feed Sumner Food Bank.
