William Measures

MEASURES, W. Lenard. Nashville, Age 79, December 19, 2008. He was a retired pastor of West Nashville Baptist Church, Army Air Corps Veteran, architectural designer and an avid hobbyist. He was preceded in death by wife, Peggy June Measures; parents, William H. and Clara Measures; infant sister, Ruthell. Survived by children, Peggy Lynn Griffin, Bill and Bob Measures; granddaughters, Ashlee Greg Kubesh, Courtney Jamey Oldham and Carolyn Measures; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon Frillie and Royce Chris Measures of TX. The funeral service will be at 11 am on Monday, December 22, 2008 at Valley View Baptist Church, 2442 Eastland Ave, Nashville, TN 37206. Brother Art Herron, Brother Mike Overcash and Brother Matthew Costner will be officiating. Interment will follow on Tuesday, at 1 pm at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valley View Baptist Church Sanctuary Fund.
