William C. Brown

William C. Brown, “Bill”, age 82, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.

Bill was born on July 5, 1941, to his parents Willard and Nellie Brown, in Gallatin, Tennessee. As a young man, he was married to the love of life Linda Brown, in June of 1962. Bill worked at Crescent Furniture Factory as a shipping foreman for 42 years. He was a big fan of baseball, football, and nascar. He was also a proud Mason for 50 years, and was associated with the #240 Beech lodge.

Bill was a christian man who was heavily involved in serving First Baptist Church of Gallatin.  

He will be dearly missed by many.

William Carrol Brown is survived by his sons, Tracy Brown, Randy Brown (Melissa Brown); grandchildren, Cameron Brown (Emily Brown), Brittany Brown-McAnally (Tyler McAnally); great grandchildren, Nolan McAnally, Heath McAnally, Dean McAnally; and aunt, Dorothy Brown.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Linda Carol Brown; father, Willard J. Brown; mother, Nellie D. Brown; and brother, Henry Brown.

All funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Gallatin; located 205 E. Main St., Gallatin, TN, 37066.

Visitation with the Brown family will begin at 10:00 A.M., and continue until service time at 2:00 P.M.

Pastor Travis Flemming will be officiating.

Burial in Crestview Memory Gardens will follow immediately, those serving as pall bearers will be members of Mr. Brown’s Sunday school class.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to First Baptist Church of Gallatin, for the children fund or home bound program.
