William Jackson "Jack" Agee, Sr., age 79 of Gallatin passed away February 27, 2017 at his home. Jack was born on December 7, 1937 in Hickman, TN to the late Jesse Kerr Agee and Mable House Culbreath. Jack was a brick mason for over 60 years and probably one of the most well-known in the area; he was a hard worker and raised his children to know the value of hard work; he will be remembered as an honest man with a great personality who's smile could truly light up a room. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Kerr & Inez Agee and Mable & Hubert Ray Culbreath; his first wife, Evelyn Marie Agee and his granddaughter, Kisha Mae Agee. He is survived by his children, Karen Agee, Steve Agee, Rick Agee, Jackie Agee, Jr., and Patty Mize (Richard); former wife and caregiver, Shirley Agee; brothers, James Agee (Janice) and Hubert Culbreath (Jean); sisters, Carolyn Mofield (Floyd) and Dorothy O'Neal (Paul); grandchildren, David Campbell, Scarlett Agee, Colton Agee, Jacie Rush, Shelby Garrett, Bryson Butler, Madde Harper, Elizabeth Harper and Corey Harper; 5 great-grandchildren, and caregivers, Sherry Agee and Elizabeth Anderson. The family wants to say a special "Thank You" to the staff at Willowbrook Hospice for their care of Mr. Agee. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 2nd at 12:00 P.M. in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, March 1st from 5-8 P.M. at Crestview Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Willowbrook Hospice.
