Wendy Petrie

Wendy Kay Sinn Petrie, age 58, passed away June 19, 2022.  She is survived by her husband, Pete Petrie; mother, Beverly Sinn; father, Glenn Sinn; brother, Kevin Sinn (Raquel Graham); sister, Kelly Carter (Mark); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and her two adoring fur baby dogs, Maggie and Mikey.

Wendy and Pete worked together for many years as long-distance truck drivers, where they were able to see a large part of the country together.  One of her greatest passions was genealogy.  She became quite the expert and developed many relationships from her research.  Wendy loved her family, and she loved to send them gifts.  She was also an avid animal lover, and hoped to one day have a animal rescue.

Visitation will be at Crestview Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Saturday June 25 from 10am until 11am with a graveside service at 11am with Pastor Ricky Morris, officiating.  Visitation will continue at the funeral home after the service until 2pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local humane society, pet rescue, or cancer research.
