Wallace Wood Tracy, beloved husband of Mary Tracy for 52 years. In his yearbook at West End High, his ambition was to be a fighter pilot. After attending Gordon Military Academy and classes at Cumberland University, he realized this dream. After 30 years of government service, he retired at Moffett Naval Air Station, Moffett Field, CA. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville for 24 years. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Thursday, March 10, 2011 from the Chapel of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville with Rev. Richard Gaia. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 PM until 8 PM, Wednesday, March 9 at Hendersonville Funeral Home and from 10 AM until the time of service, Thursday, at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Hendersonville Funeral Home, 615824-3855.
