Vivian Gunter

Ms. Vivian Christine Gunter, age 84, passed away on July 4, 2022. She was born on November 1, 1937 in Lashmeet, WV to the late Floyd and Clemetine Brunk. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Gunter and brother David Brunk.

Vivian had a big heart and loved helping others in any way she could. She would always put others before herself. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ricky Milam, Patricia Milam, Paula (Oneil) Clark, and Michael Gunter; grandchildren, Barbara Baker, Craig Milam, Casey Milam, Alex Milam, Jamie Weathers, Deandra (Gary) Thompson, Rodney Mitchell, Rebecca Gunter, and Kerigan Gunter; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Baker, Amaria Jones, Braxton Thompson, Janson Thompson, Kaiden Mitchell, Garyson Mitchell, and Colin Mitchell. She is also survived by one daughter in law, Elizabeth Gunter; brother, James Brunk and sister, Beatrice Belcher.

A life celebration will be held at 10am, Saturday, July 9th in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with burial at Sumner Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Friday evening and again from 9-10am prior to the service on Saturday.
