Butler, Virginia Yeager – January 1, 2009. Age 78, of Nashville. Preceded in death by her husband, Patrick James Butler, Sr. Survived by son, Patrick J. Butler, Jr.; daughters, Nora Krause David and Stephanie Shorey Lt. Col. Alan; grandchildren Davey Krause, Lilly Krause, Charlie Shorey and Alan Patrick Shorey; brothers, Jimmy Max Yeager Pam, Claude Yeager Betty ; sisters, Mary Meine Frank, Fredricka Bolling James, and Dr. Janet Goktepe. Virginia received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama, and was employed as a teacher and a church organist. She retired after 20 years as an instructor at the State Area Vocational School. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for 35 years. Visitation will be Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 1 – 5 p.m., at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service to be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2009 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 222 Belle Meade Blvd. Nashville, TN 37205.
