Vincent Long

LONG, Vincent Wilberforce Sugar Booger Jr., October 6, 2009. Retired from the Nashville Glass Plant after 44 years of service in 2001. He was also a Former Boy Scout, former Board Member of Big Brothers of Nashville and member of Ford retired Golfers Association. Preceded in death by mother, Ewing Elizabeth Todd Long; father, Vincent W. Long, Sr., sisters, Ernie Bailey and Dorothy Long; grandson, Joey DiPasquale. Mr. Long just celebrated his 56th Anniversary on September 27, 2009 with his grade school sweetheart since 3rd grade, wife, Jo Ann Perry Long. Also survived by "son", Joe DiPasquale; daughters, Vinise David Long Aldous and Susan Danny Long Oliver; grandsons, Brad Kristen DiPasquale, Jason Oliver; great-granddaughter, Maci DiPasquale. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey DiPasquale, Men's Bible Class @ St. John's UMC, Ford Retirees Golf Association, Ford Retirees and Jerry Stanley. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Big Brothers of Nashville or St. John's UMC Pastor's Discretionary fund.
