Victor Lee Akers

Victor Akers, age 71, of Gallatin, Tennessee, entered into peace on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

He was born on May 19, 1952, in Rochester, New York, to his parents Curt and Velma Akers.

Victor will be remembered as a very giving man, and for his humor- he loved to joke.

Victor Lee Akers Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Diana (Moore) Akers; sons, Donald Akers, Joseph Akers, Victor Akers Jr., Paul Akers; daughter, Catherine Akers; sisters, Pam Sutton, Teresa Akers Smith, Karen Mitchell; brother, Craig Akers; and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Curt Akers; mother, Velma (Tackett) Akers; and his siblings, Joyce Akers, Ricky Akers, Gary Akers, Nona Williams, and Brenda Fox.

The family kindly request that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in honor of Victor Lee Akers.
