Vernon Livingston

Mr. Vernon Heath Livingston, 67, of Gallatin, passed away on March 10, 2018 at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. He was born on February 8, 1951 in Newberry, South Carolina to the late Vernon J. and Nell Livingston.

Heath was a big lover of sports, but mainly football. In his younger years, he played football at Gardener Webb College in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. His family says he was just an all-around athlete. He was also an avid fisherman. Heath was also a very active musician. He was a member of Lambuth Memorial Methodist Church for 20 years.

Heath is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Mrs. Jo Bell Livingston; son, Jesse Russell (Dawn); grandchildren, Ashli, Claudia, JJ, and Hudson; brother, George Timothy; and sister, Curtis Elaine Bassett (Richard).

A life celebration will be held 3pm, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Lambuth Memorial Methodist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7pm at the church. The church will also open at 9am on Wednesday prior to the service. A service will also be held Saturday, March 17 at 2pm at Hightower Funeral Home in Breman GA. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
