Tulula Spalding

SPALDING, Tulula Age 94 of Hendersonville formerly of Donelson passed away January 19, 2013. Mrs. Spalding was a very outgoing and social lady that enjoyed knitting and being an active member of the Donelson Senior Citizens. She was a good Christian lady that was a charter member of Lakewood Baptist Church & a member of the Gleaner Sunday School Class. She was a retiree of State Farm Insurance after 30 years of service. She was a great woman that will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by her husband, John H. Spalding; son, Charles Alvin Spalding; 3 brothers; 1 sister. Survived by her loving son, Phil Spalding Wanda; daughter-in-law, Judy Spalding; grandchildren; Melissa Overby Jeff, Mark Spalding Pam, John Spalding Candy & Bill Spalding Tish; great-grandchildren, Haley Overby, Jeremy Spalding, Tanner Overby & Ashley Spalding; 2 sisters; several extended family members and friends. A Life Celebration will be held 11am Wednesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Greenbrier Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
