Tracy Ann (Schneider) Grutter of Gallatin, TN suffered a suspected pulmonary embolus and passed away on July 19, 2014 at age 40.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul, sons Maxwell and Benton; brother Troy Schneider; parents Donna and Gary Schneider; nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Tracy was born in Lancaster, Ohio. She attended the University of Kentucky receiving a Bachelor's degree of Health Sciences, and the University of Missouri for her Masters of Health Administration. She and Paul met at the University of Missouri and married on September 14, 2001. Tracy worked as a health care consultant for several years and then devoted all her time to her family once she had children. She loved being Maxwell and Benton's mom.

Tracy's generosity, humor, friendship, and love touched all of those around her. She had a way of lighting up a room with her laughter and spirit that will be forever missed.

There will be a Memorial service / Celebration of Life at Crestview Funeral Home on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 3:00pm. There will be a visitation from 2:00 to 2:45 and a short reception following the service.
