Thomas J. Carmouche, of Woodbury, TN, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016, at the age of 72. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Dallas Joseph and Lallie C. (Leath) Carmouche. He is survived by his loving wife, Arlene (Armstrong), of 13 years, children; Brian Carmouche (Susan), Ashly Crain (Joshua), Kimberly Silcox and Ryan Reed (Amy), grandchildren; Kaylee Carmouche, Jackson Crain, Ava Crain, Julianna Crain, Katee Barrett, Emme Silcox and Ryder McQuade Reed. Thomas is also survived by his brother, Bobby Carmouche (Mary) and sister, Beth Draper (William), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Thomas was a U.S. Air Force Security Police veteran, worked for the Gallatin Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. He was Director of the Tennessee Hereferd Association and was awarded "Family of the Year 2016."
Thomas was a stern yet caring, loving and faithful man. He was honest, honorable, selfless and always a gentleman. His passions in life were serving people, spending time with his family and cattle farming.
A Life Celebration for Thomas will be held at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held Friday, August 5, 2016 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Burial will be held at Crestview Memory Gardens with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Harold Leath, Gary Leath, David Harrison, Dale Davenport, Ryan Reed, Brantley Carmouche, Scotty Carmouche, Brian Carmouche, Josh Crain & Jackson Crain.
