Susan Burns

BURNS, Susan Beth Meadows, R.N.-CSAC age 51 passed away on September 23, 2009. Susan possessed an incredible love for life and her family. She worked hard, played harder and loved best. A friend to all, she sought opportunity to serve others in countless ways. She loved music and being outdoors, whether on the beach, fishing, hanging out on the deck or cheering on the Tennessee Titans. She loved to travel with family and always enjoyed making lasting memories. She is survived by her husband, Joe Burns, SR; parents, William and Wilma Meadows; son, William Thomas Hows, III; step-sons, Jason Ali Burns, Joe Jessica Burns, JR; 5 grandchildren; sister, Cheryl Meadors; great-niece, Roxanne Meadors, nephew, Brian Meadors; niece, Jennifer Meadors. Visitation will be on Friday from 1-4 and 5-8. There will be a prayer service on Friday at 7 pm by Father Philip Breen and service will be on Saturday at 11 am At Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Ricky Lee officiating.
