Steven Hall, age 64, of Gallatin, Tennessee, entered into rest on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
He was born in Gallatin, on July 14, 1960, to his parents George and Mattie Lee Hall. Steven was raised attending Hickory Grove Baptist Church, in Castalian Springs. After he graduated high school, Steven worked at Donnelley Printing Company for almost 20 years.
Back in the day, he enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He loved to cook; most recently he was learning to bake and made a killer chocolate pie. However, Steven valued his family the most. He loved spending his time with them. He was the best great-uncle, and kept watch over his great-niece, Alison, day to day.
Steven will be remembered as an honest man who was blunt in nature, but also so very caring.
He was gone too soon, and will be dearly missed by many.
Steven Monroe Hall is survived by his devoted daughter, Sherkia Hall-Dunn; granddaughters, Kiara Marshall, Caresa Dunn; step-children, Miyakka McKinley, Martina Nalls, Justin Nalls; four siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Monroe Hall; mother, Mattie Lee (Austin) Hall; paternal grandmother, Janie Gardner; maternal grandmother, Creola Austin; maternal grandfather, Joe D. Austin; and the mother of his child, Teresa Hall.
