June 1, 2017 saw Stefan Iacob called home to eternal glory with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Following heart surgery two weeks prior, a routine appointment ended with the sad news that Stefan's life here on earth was complete. Lidia, along with the entire family prayed day and night for complete healing to Stefan, however Stefan as husband, father, brother, and friend left earth to receive his reward in Heaven. While we on earth may not understand why, peace is gained by knowing that God's plan was different from those who now mourn his loss and the void that is felt by all. Stefan was proceed in death by his parents Mariea and Dumitru Iacob and sister Emilia Iacob and brother Viorel Iacob.

Married on May 24, 1992; Stefan and Lidia raised seven children together. David (24), Daniel (23), Cristian (20), Daniela (17), Marcel (16), Matthew (10), and Nathan (3). Stefan also leaves behind siblings Mihai, Ioan, Lidia, Iulia, Rodica, Geta and Lucia.

A loving husband, father, brother, and friend; Stefan first and foremost was a man of God. Never shy to share his faith or love, Stefan would sing for joy and live out his faith in service to others in need.

While those who know and love Stefan say goodbye to him here on earth they take peace in the knowledge that Stefan is in no more pain and that he is in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Those who know him mourn and grieve but take solace in the peace and security that one day will join him in Heaven.
