Ruby Coulter

Mrs. Ruby Nell Coulter, 77, of Gallatin, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 21, 1940 in Magee, MS to the late Luke and Novice Padgett. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Virdue Stubbs.

Ruby enjoyed spending most of her time reading. Her favorite books were romance books by Nora Roberts. After graduating high school, she attended cosmetology school and got her licenses; but after a few years she got out of the business. She also became a nurse for a few years but her heart was being at home watching her kids grow up. She met and married the loved of her life on September 2, 1962; Mr. Gerald Coulter. They lived in Magee, MS for many years before moving to Gallatin in 1991.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Gerald Coulter; three children, Michael, Rhonda, and Thomas Coulter, and two brothers, Uriel and Darrell Padgett.

A life celebration will be held at 12pm, Friday, March 9, 2018 in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with burial at Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Thursday and again from 10-12pm prior to the service.
