Mr. Ronald Elmer Moore, age 86, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 30, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Elmer and Helen Moore.

Ronald enjoyed spending most of his time farming and being outside. His family describes him as a tireless worker who never stopped. When he did stop, it was always to support his children and grandchildren at sporting events. He loved watching sports but especially his children and grandchildren exceed in them. He was their biggest encourager.

He married the love his life, Mrs. Lois Gammon Moore, on December 24, 1955 after Lois met a fortune teller at the Indiana State Fair a few months prior. Lois was told she would find a man, fall in love, and be married before Christmas. A while later, she met Ronald, he asked her out for a date and a few months later they were married on Christmas Eve.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lois Moore; children, Trish Moore, Marilyn (Scott) Stewart, and Darin Moore; grandchildren, Jake Stewart, Megan (Jonathan) Phann, Jeffrey Stewart, and Drake Moore; great grandchildren, Draven Nelson, Isabella Moore, Jonathan Phann, Jr., and Greyson Phann; and one sister, Janet Amato.

A life celebration will be held 11am, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Crestview Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Tuesday and again one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be at Crestview Memory Gardens. Crestview Funeral Home, Memory Gardens and Cremation Center are entrusted with arrangements. 1623 Highway 109 N, Gallatin TN 37066.
