Roberta Jones Hackett-Age 94 of Hendersonville passed away July 7, 2014.
Preceded in death by her husband, Oswald Kerney Hackett; parents, Hattie Mae Moss & Willard Samuel Jones, Sr.; sisters, Winnie Jones, Ava Dale Smith & Lorene Roberts; brothers, Baxter Jones & Keller Jones; grandchild, Toby William Hackett.
Survived by her children, Charlotte Faye Meekins (Roy), Willard G. "Jerry" Hackett & Richard Moss Hackett (Rosalinda Velarde Hackett); grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Meekins Rhodes (Andy), Janet Roberta Meekins Brown (Chuck); Holly Ruth Hackett Greenwood (Scott Thomas), Andrea Lee Hackett Zampatti, Ricky Velarde, Jr. (Bertha), Christopher Aaron Hackett (Leigh Askew, Fiancée), Michael Justin Hackett (Heather Belanger), Marissa Ann Hackett (Benjamin Cook, Fiancé), Houston Moss Hackett (Morgan Sartain, Fiancée); 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Woodrow Jones & Willard Samuel Jones, Jr.; special friend, Jan Hackett; several extended family members and friends.
A Life Celebration will be held 2pm Friday at Crestview Funeral Home with burial to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. Pastor Malcolm Patton officiating. Visitation will be 4:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday at Crestview Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
