ROBERTS, Robert "Bobby" Coleman age 69 of Nashville, Tn. passed away on June 18, 2009. He was born on February 19, 1940 in Nashville, Tn. and was a proud graduate of Cohn High School. He received his Bachelors degree from David Lipscomb and his Masters from M.T.S.U. He was a well loved teacher and coach for over 30 years in the Metro Nashville public schools. He also taught at Nashville Christian School, Sycamore Middle School and Ashland City Middle School. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and a current member of Bellevue Church of Christ. Bobby was well known for his love of basketball as a player and a coach. His sweet and gentle spirit will not only be remembered by his family, but also by his many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Mary Lou Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife Leah Holland Roberts, son, Brad Roberts, of Austin, TX.; daughters, Amber Jason Stephens, Staci Josh McCreary, Allyson Mark Gaither and Holly Aaron Wood; precious grandchildren, Cole and Austin Stephens, Adam, Cate, and Lizy McCreary, Brown and Ellie Gaither and Scout Wood; brother, Larry Laura Roberts; sister, Judy Steve Lancaster. Funeral services will be on Saturday June 20, 2009 at 10 am at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Marlin Connelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Howard Cook, Bartley Davis, Donnie Keeton, Albert Mitchell, Jerry Morrow, Larry Schmittou and Lynn Spencer will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kermit Toungett, Carl Miller, Jerre Vaughan and Ferrell Owens. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Fund. Visitation will be on Friday from 4-8 pm and on Saturday from 9-10 am at HARPETH HILLS FUNERAL HOME, 9090 HWY 100, 615 646-9292
