Richard Hargis Wade Jr.

            Mr. Richard Hargis Wade Jr., age 72, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

                 Richard was born on April 30, 1951, to his parents Richard Sr. and June Wade, in Davidson County, Tennessee. When he was 20 years old, he married Ms. Rebecca Woodall, on January 5, 1972. Mr. and Mrs. Wade went on to have three children together. Since he was a teenager, Richard had worked in construction as a carpenter. However he also worked for the post office as a mail carrier for ten years, and served as a soldier in the U.S. Army. In his personal time, Richard loved being outdoors. In his younger days he would hunt deer, he enjoyed camping, and loved fishing these past few years.

          Mr. Richard Hargis Wade ll, is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rebecca (Woodall) Wade; daughter, Cynthia King; sons, Hargis Wade (Tina), and Adam Lee Wade (Sarah); grandchildren, Jeremy Wade, Rebecca Lauren Wade, Jacob King, Joshua Austin King, Kayelee King, Nick Abernathey, Katherine Elizabeth Wade; and Cody Wade; great grandson, Damon Everett Flynn; brothers, Robert Wade, and Curtis Wade; and his dog, Buster, who was his constant companion.

          He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hargis Wade Sr.; mother, June Allen (Gregory) Carr; brother, Frank Wade; and great granddaughter, Launa Michelle Beecham.

          Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., at Crestview Funeral Home.

               A graveside service will take place on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., in Crestview Memory Gardens, with burial to immediately follow.

Pall Bearers will be Jeremy, Jacob, Austin, Vincent, Nick, and Cody.
