Richard Lester

RICHARD L. "Rick" LESTER age 58 of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from injuries he received in a work related accident. He was a loving husband and father, a member of the Community Church of Hendersonville, an avid Hendersonville Commando and U.T. Football Fan; and an employee of Hoeganaes Corporation in Gallatin. He was a wonderful and loving person who touched many lives. Mr. Lester is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jennifer Hill Lester; daughter, Molly Fay Lester; son, Joe Lester; mother, Margie Lester; sisters; Connie and DeeGee Lester and his brother-in-law, Mark Hill. His family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 5th at Hendersonville Funeral Home and on Monday, June 6th from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the Community Church of Hendersonville. Services will be conducted by Pastor Doug Varnado. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be his coworkers from Hoeganaes: Jason Campbell, Kerry Williams, Bob Beasley, Sean Keene, Jerry Ladd, David Smith, H. B. Ray and Dan Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Hendersonville Commando Football Team.
