Richard Kimbro

KIMBRO Sr., Richard Marshall – age 75. August 28, 2009. The son of the late William L. and Alberta Marshall Kimbro. Survived by his devoted and loving wife of 57 years, Shirley Higgins Kimbro, son, Rick Laura Kimbro of Whites Creek and daughter , Karen Rick Head of Goodlettsville, three grandchildren, Trey Jamie Kimbro, Miles and Mitchell Head, three great-grandchildren, brother, Leland Reba Kimbro and sister, Ann Chuck Sullivan. Mr. Kimbro was an Army veteran who was loved and respected by family, friends and members of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. "Chief" Kimbro served as Safety Coordinator for the Metro Fire Department for 36 years. The Metro Fire Department will serve as honorary pallbearers while his family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeshore Homes Wedgewood and Guardian Hospice for their love, care and support. The graveside service will be 2 p.m., Monday August 31, 2009 at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Bro. Darrell Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends at the West Harpeth Funeral Home from Sunday 12-4 p.m. and Monday 12 noon – 1 p.m. at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME 6962 Charlotte Pike 615-352-9400
