AUBIN, Richard A. - Age 67, passed away July 27, 2012. Richard was a kindred spirit, big hearted family man; caring, gentle, and honest with a great sense of humor. He was a Patriot who served his country for 28 years, first in the Navy on the USS Sacramento, and then in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed home projects, bowling, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, dining out, UT, Titans, and Vikings football, and especially spending precious time with family and friends. As a man of strong faith in God, he was a member of the Hendersonville First Baptist Church. He was an incredible man, loved by so many and will be missed dearly. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Fran Aubin; daughter, Marne Carter Landon; son, Steve Krueger; twin daughters, Tanya Tulp Steve and Kendra Nord Allen; son, Sean Anderson; special mother-in-law, friend and buddy, Granny Johnson; grandchildren, Sarah Anderson, whom he raised, Michael and Robert Spooner, Greg Carter, Andrew, Ryan, Jonathan, and Derek Tulp, Karlie Jo, Mitchell, and Jacob Nord; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill Aubin Gloria, Evelyn Lewerer Dave, Marie Bruchu Harold, John Aubin Patti, Pat Stiegler Denny; sister-in-law, Carol Aubin; brother-in-law, Larry Raboin, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by parents, Joe and Phyllis Aubin, Sr.; siblings, Joe Aubin, Jr., Kathy Raboin, and Bobby Aubin. A Life Celebration service will be held on Tuesday at 12 p.m. with Dr. Bruce Chesser officiating in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
