Rachel Carter

Rachel Jane Carter, age 76, passed away on August 14, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Key and Bonnie Meadows, daughter, Lois Castro, brother, George Key, sisters, Bernadene Rowe and Martha Ann Huff. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Carter, sons, James (Aimee) Stinson, Angel (Monica) Castro, daughters, Rachel Duncan, Jennifer Andry and Wendy (Joe) Ladd.

Rachel was an artist who loved painting, crafts and quilting. She was a true Christian and was a member of First Baptist Church Gallatin and she loved her family.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday August 18, 2021from 4-8 at Crestview Funeral Home and Cremation Center and on Thursday from 11-2 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 2 PM at First Baptist Church Gallatin. Entombment will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens. Marcus Marler, Ron Bennett, Art Irones, Chuck Thacker, Dale Thacker and Dave Brown will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Garry Rowe, Ron Carter, Preston Stinson and Jackson Andry.
