Peggy Thurman

Ms. Peggy Charlene Thurman, age 79, of Gallatin passed away on January 30, 2022. She was born on December 21, 1942 to the late Ira C. Andrews and Reba Roberts Andrews. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by one son, Andy Piper.

Peggy loved her family, especially her grandchildren who called her “Nannie.” She enjoyed watching HGTV and listening to music. She was also a great cook. She was a loving mother, Nannie, sister, and friend who will be truly missed.

Peggy is survived by her children, Randy (Stephanie) Piper, Sandy (Rick) Oldham, Shelia (Thomas) Spears, and Sherry (Daniel) White; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Sue Doss. She is also survived by a host of family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Thompson, Bryce Farley, Cooper White, Caden Spears, Daniel White, and Thomas Spears.

A life celebration will be held at 11am, Thursday, February 3rd in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with burial in Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1-7pm on Wednesday, February 2nd at the funeral Home and again from 9-11am prior to the service on Thursday.
