JAMES, PEGGY SUE – Age 59 of Portland, TN went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2012. Mrs. James was a very selfless woman. She was a gentle angel sent from the heavens above. She was always so very bright, happy and uplifting to be around. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, collecting antique jars, selling produce at the Farmers Market and most of all spending time with her family. She was Christian woman that attended church at Laguardo Baptist Church for the last 40 years. She was a well-known woman that will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by her parents, Tyler Graham Hinson and Christine H. Wilcox. Survived by her adoring husband of 40 years, William E. "Bill" James; children, William E. James, Jr. Tamara, Samantha Reed Shannon and Amanda Breece Russell; grandchildren, Jordan James, Lucas James, Alex James, Corey Freeman, Luke Reed, Rebecca Reed, Chelsea Breece and Clarissa Breece; sister, Judy Jenkins Truman , brother, Don Hinson Diane. A Life Celebration will be held 12 Noon Monday at Crestview Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens.
