Patricia Ann Hendrickson Roswell, age 80 of Nashville passed away June 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. Patricia was born in Decaturville, Tennessee on August 26, 1936 to the late T.J. Hendrickson, Sr. and Berniece Mae Lemons Hendrickson. She was raised in Middle Tennessee and graduated from Gallatin High School in 1954. Following high school, Patricia attended Tennessee Tech where she completed her undergraduate studies, later finishing with her Master's Degree at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. After completing her education, she taught at both the University of Alabama and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the College of Home Economics. In addition to her teaching, she was very involved in Home Economic associations on both the state and national levels. She also had a love of painting, sewing and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Don Roswell; son, Kevin Roswell (Holland) of Fairview, TN; grandchildren, Tessa, Kara and Connor Roswell; siblings, Tom Hendrickson of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mary Elizabeth Penick of Hoffman Estates, IL and Ken Hendrickson (Patti) of Garner, NC; four nephews and one niece. A Life Celebration Service honoring Patricia will be held on Wednesday, June 14th at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
