Patricia Nicholson

Patricia Ann Nicholson, age 85, of Portland, TN passed away on September 28, 2024. She was born on November 24, 1938, to the late Marion and Frances Roe in Woodville, MO. Patricia is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years David Nicholson, and her grandson Daniel Nicholson Jr. She is survived by her son Daniel (Lucia) Nicholson, grandchildren Matthew Nicholson and Randy Machado, great grandchild Celeste Machado, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Thompson. Patricia also leaves behind Celeste’s mother Hannah Woodward, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a very strong willed and intelligent woman. She was the kind of person that always did what needed to be done to ensure the well-being of her family. Patricia loved to keep herself busy doing yard work. She prided herself in taking care of her flower beds, mowing her lawn, and pruning her trees. Being outside helped her to find joy in life’s simple pleasures. If she wasn’t outside working, she was taking care of business within her household. She was smart as a whip and things came naturally to her as she worked about her home and fixed things when need be. She also enjoyed reading and cooking. Patricia particularly liked to have her hand in trying to make different types of desserts for her family to try. Although she is gone, she is not forgotten.

 A visitation for Mrs. Patricia Nicholson will be held at Crestview Funeral Home – Memory Gardens and Cremation Center on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 3pm until 7pm. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 3pm graveside service will also be held for Ms. Patricia.
