Steve Bishop, age 56, passed away Tuesday, July 29th 2014, at his home in Madison, TN. He was born in Kingsport, TN on September 6th, 1957 to Gale & Emma Lou Bishop. On December 31, 1984 he married his loving wife Velma Lou Bishop. In 2006, Steve gave his life to Christ. He enjoyed fishing, boating, walks in the park, the outdoors, ushering at Cornerstone Church, and driving his camaro.

Steve is survived by his wife, Velma Bishop, of 29 years, daughters, Christina Flatt, Shauna Green and Megan Rediker, his brother Ray Bishop, his 2 sisters, Margie Murphy and Connie Stalvey, five loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all.

A celebration of his life service will be held 2:00pm Friday August 1st at Crestview Funeral Home in Gallatin, Tn with Pastor Danny Johnson officiating and grave-site services immediately following at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 10:00am-2:00pm Friday at funeral home.
