Nancy Roberts

ROBERTS DiBiase Nancy age 88 passed away on Sunday December 5, 2010 into the waiting arms of her lord and savior. She was born in Bristol CT on January 22, 1922. She is Preceded in death by her mother and father, Thomasso and Maria DiBiase, 4 brothers, Tony, Joseph, Peter and Louis DiBiase; 5 sisters, Emma Kowal, Elisa Wojowoda, Sophie Vallee, Lillian Kristofik and Susan Stroh. Those left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, James Roberts of Franklin, TN, Jean Gladding of Willis VA, Linda Nappi of Lutz FL, and Sylvia Joska of Winter Park FL; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother, Pat DiBiase; sisters, Mary Bechard, Carmella Swicklas. She was affectionately known as sister Nancy by her friends and church family. She was loved by all who knew her. She had a very strong faith in God and was active in her church. We all know she is in Heaven now. She was a volunteer for several years at Grace Healthcare giving her time and kindness to all the residents and staff. She also volunteered for many years at 2 psychiatric Hospitals in CT for troubled teens. She enjoyed swimming especially diving. She was an avid artist sketching and drawing and painting daily. Our sincere gratitude go to the staff at NHC Healthcare for their care to our mom in her last days. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11-1 pm with a service to follow at 1 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
