Mildred H. Knight age of Madison, TN was born Mildred Lucille Hauskins on May 31, 1929, in Westmoreland, TN to the late Key & Emma Hauskins. She was reunited with her family in Heaven on Sunday morning, September 1, 2019. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Odell Knight, and her two children, Terry Odell Knight and Sandra Knight Graham and eight siblings. She is survived by her granddaughter, Bria (Clift) Slaughter of Gallatin, TN, two great grandchildren, Molly & Carson Slaughter, one sister, Betty Heath of Gallatin, TN, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Knight was a lifelong member of Madison Church of Christ. She prided herself in her career at Harvey's Department Store, which later became Peebles, where she worked until they closed their doors. Homecoming Services for Mrs. Knight will be held on Saturday, September 7th at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with Rev. David Gant officiating. Entombment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 4-8 P.M. Active Pallbearers will be: Trey Brannom, Benji Elder, John Thomas Ferrell, OT Morris, Clift Slaughter and Carson Slaughter. Honorary Pallbearers are The Staff and Friends at Brookdale Goodlettsville. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Brookdale Goodlettsville, Casler Senior Compass, NHC Place Sumner, and Alive Hospice Hendersonville.
