Mildred Crownover Jackson, age 91, of Gallatin, passed away May 19, 2015.
Mildred was born in Fentress County. She grew up in Crossville until her early 20's when she moved to Oak Ridge. She then moved to Gallatin in 1992. Mildred was a member of the Order of Easter Star and was past Worthy Matron of the Oak Ridge Chapter. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Gallatin. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Golden Living Center, Brandywood for their loving care.
Preceded in death by her husband, Gascal Jackson; siblings, Paul Crownover, Donald Crownover & Faye Rogers. Survived include her daughter, Wanda Jackson, of Gallatin, brothers, Robert Crownover, Sr. of Nashville, Samuel Crownover of Bossier City, LA, David Crownover, Kelly Crownover both of Chattanooga and Roy Crownover of Rogersville; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Shut In Ministries, First Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice.
A Life Celebration will be held 11:00am, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Crestview Funeral Home with burial to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 9:30am - 11:00am at
