Melton Simpson

Melton Darrel Simpson, age 73, of Gallatin, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center. He was born on August 16, 1946 in Greeneville, TN to the late John Paul and Lennie Simpson. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Jonnie, Evelyn, Bud, Luther, and Eldon.

Melton worked as an electrician at Alliance Electric for over 15 years before starting at Lowes, he worked at Lowes for 21 years. He enjoyed woodworking and building things with wood. He also enjoyed playing piano, guitar and just making music.

Melton is survived by his children; Darrel, Lorelee, and Travis Simpson; grandchildren, Kevin McGee, Britney Swanson, and Drew Swanson; great grandson, Mason Hansel; and siblings, Tom, Fred, Bill, and Carol.
