Marylyn Jayroe

Marylyn E. Jayroe, age 94 of Hendersonville and formerly of Tampa, FL, passed away October 8, 2011. She was born January 9, 1917 to Herman and Irene Pitton in Harrisburg, PA. Mrs. Jayroe was a member of Madison Campus Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Irene Snyder Pitton; husband, Robert Jayroe; brother, Leslie Pitton; sister, Rosalie Barksdale; twin sister, Evelyn Walker; daughter, Roberta Hankins; son, James Jayroe and grandson, Kendall Brewer. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Francis Bob; six grandchildren, Jenny Hankins, Wayne Hankins, William Hankins, Warren Brewer, Robert Brewer and Cheryl Kuilboer; nine great-grandchildren, Brandi Martin, Billy Hankins, Jamie Johnson, Amy Brewer, Saira Brewer, Tyler Brewer, Andrew Zuluaga, Ben Kuilboer and Marylyn Kuilboer; and five great-great grandchildren, Breanna Wiley, James Michael Johnson, Austin Adcock, JulieAnn Brewer and Joshua Brewer. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 11th from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, October 12th from 1-2 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
