Mary Frances Hurst, age 91 of Gallatin, went to be with the Lord on June 12, 2019. Mrs. Hurst was born on March 7, 1928 in Lebanon, TN to the late Carl Driver and the late Vera King Driver. She met the love of her life, Charles Ray Hurst and was married to him in 1945. They served in ministry side by side for over 50 years in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Since 1992 she has been the Vice President of the Steve Hurst School of Music and was a vital part of the school. Mrs. Hurst enjoyed cooking and entertaining people in her home, loved to take care of people and was loved by many. She was a loving wife and mother; she will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Hurst; and brothers, Ernest and Howard Driver. She is survived by her son, Steve Hurst; brother, Thomas "Mac" Driver (Gladys); sister-in-law, Margaret Driver; and several nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration Service honoring her will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Crestview Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 4-8 P.M. and Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service. The family will have a private entombment service at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum on Wednesday.
