Mary Hamlett

Mrs. Mary Shumake Woodall Hamlett age 74 of Portland, TN passed away June 14, 2022. She was born September 23, 1947 in Fountain Head, TN.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn Hamlett; father, Claude Shumake and step-mother, Shirley Shumake; mother, Pauline Jordan and step-father, Wallace Jordan; brother, William Claude Shumake Jr.

Mary is survived by daughter, Renee Woodall; son, Brian (Kimberly) Woodall; grandchildren, Christopher (Christiane) Woodall, Dakota (Julia) Woodall, Dalton Shaub, Drake Shaub and Emily Woodall.

Mary worked as a supervisor for Farmers Home Administration for 28 years. She loved gardening and flamingo’s. In her younger days she squared danced on the Grand Ole Opry.

Mary loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 18th at 12:00pm from the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Ronnie Briley officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, June 17th from 4pm-7pm and Saturday, June 18th from 11am until time of service.
