Mary Cantrell

CANTRELL, Mary Katherine Sadler, age 92 of Nashville, passed away May 17, 2011 at Christian Care Center in Ashland City. She is preceded in death by husband, William W. Polly Cantrell; parents, Jonathan Hulan & Maggie Beulah Stevens Sadler; brother, James Sadler; sister, Lillian Winters; granddaughter, Katie Cantrell; She is survived by brother, Bill Sadler; daughters, Pat Dick Bess; Peggy Jo Rufus Brewer & Kathy Mike Poplin; son, Wally Trelba Cantrell; 12 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen Herschel Lannom. She was a wonderful, caring wife, mother & grandmother. She was very involved in school activities with her children and served in various capacities of church work for 70 years: West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian & West Meade Fellowship. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Christian Care Center for the loving care given to their mother. A Life Celebration service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2011 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
