Martha "Jean" Camp, age 68 of Hendersonville, passed away after a courageous fight with COPD on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 2:25 p.m. Mrs. Camp was a member of "Faith is the Victory Church" in Nashville. She also led Bible Studies and opened/operated "The Help Center" in Hendersonville. She helped many people. She owned and ran a cleaning business for 25 years and was also a great seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Annie Lynn; and a brother, Bill Lynn. She is survived by her husband, "Dave" David Camp; her daughters, Wanda Danny Spain, Sarah Jeff Perkins and Debbie Cory Upchurch; son, Jimmy Janet Camp; grandchildren, Mitzi Brad Hudson, Cori Jean Donnie Baggett, Tyler and Jesse Perkins, Adam and Jake Camp, and Dalton Upchurch; great-grandson, Luke Baggett; great-granddaughter, Emma Jean Baggett and sister, Louise Chandler-Smith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM, Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Hendersonville Memory Gardens Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4 PM until 8 PM, Saturday, Dec. 18 and from 12 PM until the time of service, Sunday at Hendersonville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Camp Tree Account at any Green Bank location, which will purchase a tree to be planted in her memory.
