Martha Brinkley

Ms. Martha Elizabeth Brinkley, age 71, a lifelong resident of Gallatin, TN passed away on December 27, 2020. She was born on June 15, 1949 in Gallatin to the late John and Mary E. Rice. She is also preceded in death by several siblings.

Martha spent most of her time taking care of her grandchildren, whom she adored. She also loved shopping with her granddaughter, eating, and going to church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be truly missed.

Martha is survived by her children, Syvaline Brinkley and Derrek Smith; grandchildren, Katonya Brinkley-Satterfield, Nica Dalton, Desmion Seay, and Dearaton Smith; seven great grandchildren; and several siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at 12pm, December 31st at Zion Upper Room Apostolic Faith Church in Gallatin with burial in Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Wednesday at Crestview Funeral Home and again from 11am-12pm on Thursday at the church.
