Marta Eleanor Miner

Mrs. Marta E. Miner joined her husband and love of her life, in Heaven, March 23,2024. She was surrounded by family and passed peacefully at her home in Florida. Services will be held at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Gallatin, Tn where she will be laid to rest beside him. 

 Mrs. Miner was born March 11, 1942 in Albion, Illinois to Kenneth and Eleanora Fooks. She married Ronald Miner May 6, 1967 in New York. Most people would say they had two children, because that’s how many she gave birth to. However they were not most people. They were able to make a difference in so many more children’s lives than just their own. She had a heart full of love and open arms for everyone in need. She lived every minute of her life to help and love others. This will be her legacy forever.

 She was preceded in death by her parents,  Kenneth and Eleanora Fooks, brothers, Gene and Mark Fooks, and husband of 49 years, Ronald Miner. Among the hundreds of children whose lives she affected, she leaves behind her son, Ronnie Miner (Cindy), daughters Stacie Cornett (Jonathan), Rose Etheridge (Joey), and Alexis Graves (Derrick). She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 19 great grand children of which all had a special place in her heart.
