Margaret J Wickham Ingersoll, (Peggy), passed away peacefully after a long illness with Alzheimer's Disease on May 19, 2016; she was 84 years old. Peggy is the daughter of Glenn C. Wickham and Arlene Olmstead of Cheshire, NY.
She was a clinical hypnotherapist and practiced in Pittsford, NY and Wake Forest, NC for several years. Prior to that she owned and operated a Beauty Salon in Clifton Springs, NY. She had an exceptional soprano singing voice and attended Curtis Institute for Music in Philadelphia, PA with a scholarship. She enjoyed classical music and sang with several choral groups and also in many weddings.
Family was the most important thing to Peggy. She is survived by three sisters, Jean Jones of Inverness, Florida, Carolyn Yager of Sanford, Florida and Evelyn Neal of Largo, Florida. She also leaves her sons, David Erdle (Fran), Carl Erdle (Marie), daughters, Sue Curran (Michael), Judy Finerghty (Denise). She was predeceased by two brothers, Vernon and Melvin Wickham and her son, John Glenn Erdle, husbands, Carl D Erdle and Bernard Ingersoll.
Peggy was blessed with eleven grandchildren, Jill Margaret Mojica, Jeffrey Curran, Jamie Hill, Jennie Skwara, Nick Cloonen, Ryan, Katie, Bradley and Rebecca Erdle, Sam and Brandon Leclair. In addition, Peggy was blessed with eleven great-grandchildren, Leah, Mara and Tommy Curran, Audrey and Curran Mojica, Tyler Skwara, Ava and Emma Cloonen, Bella and Jaxon Berry and Abigail Hill.
