Lola Pounders

Mrs. Lola Mae Pounders, age 97, of Gallatin, passed away on May 16, 2022. She was born on January 1, 1925 to the late Ross Kiser and Myrtle Adams Kiser. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd M. Pounders; son, Kenneth Ray Pounders; brothers, Mac Kiser, Marvin Kiser, and B.J. Kiser.

Mrs. Pounders is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Don) Lee; grandson, Jeffrey (Angela) Lee; daughter in law, Chris Pounders; step grandson, Joe Fiorentino; great grandchildren, Tyler (Laurel) Lee, Holly Lee, and Sierra Lee; great great granddaughter, Josie May; and siblings, Eula Tomlinson, JD Kiser, Stella Leamons, Loyd Kiser, Dorothy Baker, Melvin Kiser, and Nell Jones.

Mrs. Pounders was a waitress at Gallatin Drug Store and The City Café for over 30 years. She also enjoyed spending her time baking pies and cakes.

The Pounders Family would like to personally thank the entire staff at NCH Place, Sumner and Caris Hospice.

The family will hold a private graveside service on May 20, 2022.
