Ms. Lois Nell Gammon Moore, age 86, of Portland, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019. She was born on October 24, 1932 in Oak Grove, TN to the late John Dennis Gammon, Sr. and Sarah Catherine Tucker. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Moore, brother, John "Jo" Dennis Gammon Jr, and an infant daughter.

Lois had a larger than life personality. She loved making her family laugh. Just one look with her raised eyebrow, she would have her family laughing. She enjoyed gardening and going to antique stores. She never met a stranger. She loved her Lord, cleaning house, and listening to gospel music. Lois was truly an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed.

Lois is survived by her children, Trish Moore, Marilyn (Scott) Stewart, and Darin Moore; grandchildren, Jake Stewart, Megan (Jonathan) Phann, Jeffrey Stewart, and Drake Moore; great grandchildren, Draven Nelson, Isabella Moore, Jonathan Phann, Jr., and Greyson Phann; and two sisters, Henrietta Gammon Davenport and Helen Gammon Gregory.

A life celebration will be held at 11am, Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in the chapel of Crestview Funeral Home with burial at Crestview Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Monday evening.
